Howler is headed by Co-Owners Liat & Joey Talmage, a *completely functional* 😆 married couple with over 25 years of combined experience in web, branding, marketing, and design.
Howler was born to go bigger in all ways possible.
We’ve been around the block and back, from freelancing to working for top-tier brand agencies internationally. We’ve taken what we learned and loved, and left behind what we saw lacking - the result being a fine-tuned, focused team and a metaphorical office with no ceiling… no limits.

MEET LIAT
With roots in Hollywood’s wardrobe departments and the LA fashion scene, and having worked for well over a decade as a web and graphic designer, Liat has developed a keen eye for what grabs the consumer.
Liat has served a wide range of clients including fashion and jewellery designers, retailers, health and beauty brands, lifestyle bloggers, life coaches, musicians, tech companies, accountants, PR agencies, non-profit organizations, food and beverage brands, and e-commerce businesses.
Liat is well versed and always pushing boundaries in web design, graphic design, and branding, specializing in logos, packaging, look books, flyers, social media content, newsletter design, and start-to-finish brand builds.
MEET JOEY
For the past 12 years Joey has worked in the marketing world in both the United States and New Zealand, developing a passion and sharpening a talent for storytelling and brand development.
Over the years Joey has acquired a depth of experience in the fields of branding, experiential marketing, digital marketing, social media, journalism, copywriting, and music management.
Joey’s work has always kept him on his toes creatively, having served a diverse array of clientele including government and tourism organizations, wineries, major food, drink & tobacco brands, hospitality groups, logistics & supply chain companies, international recording artists, entertainment publications, retailers and many more.
